Abstract

Quinn’s idea of ‘tribalism’ will be introduced and participants will have the opportunity to explore how it can be adapted to university pedagogy. The goal of ‘tribalism’ is to have students take responsibility for their learning in a non-hierarchical context, and to engage in new kinds of classroom conversations that will facilitate this goal.
