Abstract

This energetic workshop will explore educational redesign from passive to active and consumptive to innovative teaching and learning through collaborative design thinking and practice across disciplines.  This disposition of design enables learner growth in creative capacity for engagement in original research and production often conspicuously absent from undergraduate educational practice.

Robert Kelly

Robert is an associate professor in the Faculty of Arts and adjunct associate professor and academic coordinator of the transformative Design Thinking for Innovation graduate program in the Werklund School of Education. His most recent book is entitled Creative Development: Transforming Education through Design Thinking, Innovation and Invention.
