Providing meaningful feedback to learners is critically important to the learning process. This session will focus on the topic of peer-to-peer learning (feedback and evaluation) and self-assessment using structured video feedback. New tablet based learning tools will be demonstrated and trialed by all participants followed by discussion of the experience.
Dr. Larry Katz is Professor and Director of the Sport Technology Research Laboratory, at the University of Calgary. He is an Educational Psychologist interested in how people learn and how to improve human performance using innovation and technology. Research includes sport technology, performance analysis, collaborative online learning, and health education.
Mr. Malate is a graduate student at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary pursuing his MBA. He is also a Professional Engineer and local business consultant.
